Interstate network seeks to make Ethereum transactions near instant and allow apps to self sequence while maintaining full composability with the L1. Interstate is proposer commitment network that allows Ethereum block proposers to make generic statements of future block inclusion. It is essentially a more powerful L2, with a decentralized sequencer set matching the sequencer set of the Ethereum L1.
