About the project

What Polaris is

Polaris is a decentralized finance protocol on Ethereum designed to issue stablecoins without relying on real-world assets or centralized banking. It was founded by DeFi researcher TokenBrice and developer 0xLuude.

The protocol uses three main parts: a bonding curve that converts Ethereum into yield-bearing pETH, a collateralized debt system for minting the pUSD stablecoin, and a token called POLAR that governs the platform. Revenue from borrowing, swaps, and liquidations goes to the Stability Pool.

How the testnet works

Polaris has a testnet running on Sepolia where you can try the platform's features. To participate, you connect your wallet, claim test Ethereum from faucets, and then complete activities in the testnet.

Completing testnet activities may make you eligible for rewards later, though nothing is guaranteed. The project raised $1 million from eight investors.

What it takes

The testnet costs nothing in real money and takes about 15 minutes to complete. You need a wallet connected to Sepolia and a small amount of test Ethereum from a faucet.

The testnet is best for people who are comfortable connecting wallets and understand how collateralized debt systems work.
