ZecBit is an NFT project built on Zcash shielded assets, designed to keep asset ownership private while keeping issuance and supply public. The Genesis collection has 3,333 NFTs available to mint through a whitelist program in September 2026.

What ZecBit is
ZecBit is an NFT project and marketplace for digital collectibles issued as Zcash Shielded Assets. It uses Zcash's privacy model to keep who owns each NFT private, while the project's asset issuance and total supply remain publicly verifiable.
The platform includes a mint studio, a registry, an indexer and a non-custodial trading architecture. Some parts are live on the ZSA development network. Full support on Zcash mainnet depends on when Zcash activates ZSA natively.
The Genesis collection mint
ZecBit plans to release its Genesis collection in September 2026. The collection has 3,333 NFTs. Minting requires a place on the whitelist, which you can get by completing a quest before September 5, 2026.
Genesis NFT owners receive ZecBit Founder status, which gives priority access to future drops and creator-focused activities. When ZSA moves to Zcash mainnet, ZecBit will re-release the collection and open minting to NFT owners again.
What it takes
The whitelist quest takes about 5 minutes and costs nothing. You need a Zodl wallet with a Zcash Shielded address to participate. Shielded addresses begin with u1; addresses starting with t1 will not work.
The task is to visit the website, connect your wallet, complete the available quests and provide your Shielded address to join the whitelist.
What to know
The mint is planned for September 3, 2026, but the whitelist window closes September 5, 2026. The project is still in development: some components run on the ZSA development network, not mainnet.
Minting an NFT after you join the whitelist is optional. When and how the actual mint will work has not been detailed.
