Xenea is a Layer-1 blockchain compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. It combines a Proof of Democracy consensus mechanism with a decentralized storage system called DACS. The network supports tokenization of real-world assets and uses its native XENE token for transaction fees, governance, block rewards, and running storage nodes.
The project has over 570,000 followers on X and has confirmed an airdrop campaign for early participants.
How the airdrop works
Xenea rewards participation through points earned via two types of activity. Social tasks are completed in a mobile app after signing up and downloading it. Testnet tasks involve claiming test tokens from a faucet and transferring them, making you an early adopter of the Ubusuna testnet.
Points earned through both activities can later be converted into XENE tokens and exclusive NFTs. The conversion terms have not yet been published.
What it takes
The estimated time is about 27 minutes, and there is no cost. You need a mobile device to install the app, and a Discord account to access the testnet faucet.
The project is suitable for anyone with a smartphone and willingness to complete quests. Testnet participation requires basic familiarity with wallet addresses and Discord.

Xenea announced that its wallet will soon be shut down. The team is asking users to withdraw funds and save their seed phrases. In the future, you will be able to import your Xenea wallet into MetaMask.
