Syrup provides capital to institutional borrowers through a decentralized corporate lending marketplace. Syrup allows users to earn high and stable returns by lending assets such as USDC or USDT. These deposits generate LP tokens (syrupUSDC/syrupUSDT), which allow users to begin earning interest immediately. The platform focuses on short-term, fixed-rate, overcollateralized loans, offering participants both stable returns and liquidity.

Syrup integrates with other DeFi protocols, allowing users to leverage interoperability to enhance liquidity and even use their LP tokens as collateral in other yield aggregators or lending protocols. Syrup's Maple-based permissions system ensures that only authorized users have access to specific pools.
