About the project
The Data Foundation is an open blockchain protocol that builds a transparent provenance trail for human-generated data used to train AI models. The network connects data-sourcing apps (such as Kled, the world's largest opt-in human-data marketplace), a verification layer called Trace that records every contribution as a tamper-proof, on-chain "receipt," and Poseidon, a data-cleaning and labeling service that turns raw contributions into model-ready datasets.

Contributor monetization — everyday users get paid for uploading their own photos, videos, audio, and text through network apps (Kled, Oto, with Numo and Miso coming soon).
Scale — over 1.5B records uploaded, 5M+ new uploads daily, and 1.6M+ verified receipts on the protocol so far.
