About the project
Verse8 is an AI - powered platform developed by Planetarium Labs that enables users to create, remix, and play 2D and 3D multiplayer games using natural language text prompts without coding skills. It operates on a proprietary WebGL-based engine with Agent 8, an AI system that generates code, assets, levels, and gameplay mechanics in a cloud environment, allowing rapid prototyping and deployment of casual games across genres like arcade, puzzle, shooter, and simulation. The platform integrates with Story Protocol, a Layer-1 blockchain for intellectual property, to automatically register creations, assets, and derivatives as on-chain ownership records with programmable royalties, supporting licensed IPs such as Azuki and Moonbirds for remixing and monetization through in-game purchases or expansions. Users access games via browser, earn points through missions and play, compete on leaderboards for credits, and follow creators, with community features including events and a creator editor for building and sharing content.
