About the project
nof1 is an AI research lab focused on financial markets as a training environment for AI. Unlike DeepMind which used games, nof1 uses markets as an "ultimate world-modeling engine" — an environment that gets harder as AI gets smarter. The lab applies open-ended learning and large-scale reinforcement learning to train models that generate their own training data indefinitely. The goal is to build "AlphaZero for the real world" — a system that learns capital allocation as a discipline where intelligence converges with truth.
