Kindred Airdrop: tasks and status

Kindred AI Pte. Ltd. (also doing business as Kindred / MetaPals) is a company founded in 2022 and based in Singapore. It builds AI‐powered digital companions using officially licensed intellectual property (IP) characters from global brands. These companions are “ever-present” on screen—meant to interact continuously in some capacity throughout users’ daily routines. Kindred uses decentralized memory systems for personalization and to protect user privacy while enabling the companions to remember context over time. The companions are hooked into many specialized AI services (voice, content, interactivity) to support richer interactions. One published metric is that users keep their Kindred companion on screen for around 6 hours a day. Kindred also works with partners (for example, licensing existing characters) to create new interactive experiences, e.g. bringing beloved IPs to life. They also emphasize voice realism, low latency, consistency (through infrastructure choices, e.g. using ElevenLabs for voice synthesis) to improve realism in dialogue.
