About the project

Inspect is a Layer 2 protocol stack built to provide scalable financial infrastructure for the Bittensor ecosystem and decentralized AI. It introduces a suite of DeFi-native products designed to support users, agents, and protocols interacting with the $TAO token, including yield generation, leverage, stablecoin liquidity, and mining mechanisms.

Key components include TaoFlow for yield and leverage strategies, Substrike for collective TAO mining pools, NeuralGate or TwTAO for cross-chain and institutional access, and X-Layer for embedding real-time Bittensor data and analytics directly into the X (Twitter) interface.

The platform connects capital, AI models/agents, and community through interoperable smart contracts and tokenized coordination, allowing TAO to function as a yield-bearing asset with embedded financial primitives. It also maintains its original Web3 Social Intelligence features, such as a browser extension and app that deliver on-chain analytics, social engagement metrics, prices, and project insights directly within X feeds without leaving the platform. Inspect operates primarily as an Ethereum L2 with integrations into Bittensor subnets, enabling on-chain financial activity for decentralized intelligence networks.

The native token $INSP is used for governance, incentives, and participation within the ecosystem. Access to products and tokens is restricted in certain jurisdictions due to regulatory compliance.
