About the project

What Hypernova is

Hypernova is a prop trading protocol built on Arbitrum. It gives traders access to funded accounts of up to $200K after they pass an assessment. All account creation, rule enforcement, tracking, and payouts happen on-chain through smart contracts.

The project raised $3M and is backed by CMS Holdings, Lemniscap, Pivot Global, Very Early Ventures, and HypurrCollective.

How it works

The process starts when you buy an assessment, choosing your preferred account size and risk tier. You then trade live capital and must achieve a 10% profit target while staying within the drawdown limits set for your tier.

Once you pass, you receive a funded account with up to 80% profit share. Payouts are requested through the smart contract and processed instantly in USDC after your positions close. Gas fees for payout requests are sponsored by the protocol.

Why it stands out

Every rule, equity update, and event is recorded on-chain and immutable. The protocol maintains a public on-chain payout reserve. This means you can verify execution and trust the system without relying on the team's discretion.

Payouts happen instantly once positions are closed, not after a manual review period.

What it takes

You need to pay for the assessment itself. The estimated cost is around $60, though the assessment fee depends on the account size and risk tier you choose.

The registration process takes about 12 minutes. You supply an email, enter an invite code if you have one, and link your trading account. Trading time depends on how long you keep positions open.

Risks and what to watch for

  • Rewards are not guaranteed. You must pass the assessment and hit the profit target to receive funding.
  • Trading losses can exceed your assessment fee. If you trade poorly or market conditions move against you, you may lose more than you paid to enter.
  • Smart contracts can contain bugs or be exploited, putting funded capital at risk even if the protocol itself is sound.
  • Rules and terms can change at any time without notice.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

The assessment fee is the main cost. The estimate is around $60, but the exact fee depends on the account size and risk tier you select.

How much can I earn?

Upon passing the assessment and reaching the 10% profit target, you receive a funded account with up to $200K and keep up to 80% of profits you make. Payouts are not guaranteed and depend on your trading performance.

How does payout work?

Payouts are processed directly through a smart contract in USDC. Once your positions close, you request the payout and it settles instantly. The protocol covers gas fees.

Do I need an invite?

Hypernova runs a waitlist for early access. You can join the waitlist, and if you receive an invite code, you can log in and start the assessment process.
