Meridian (prev. Ethereal) Airdrop: tasks and status
Meridian is an onchain platform where you can trade perpetuals on real-world assets and compete in prediction markets. You earn points by trading, depositing liquidity, placing prediction bets, and completing community tasks on the Robinhood Chain.
About the project
What Meridian is
Meridian (formerly called Ethereal) is a platform for trading perpetuals contracts on real-world assets. It also offers prediction markets where users can bet on outcomes and compete on leaderboards for prize pools.
The platform operates on the Robinhood Chain ecosystem.
How the points program works
You earn Meridian points through several activities. Trading perpetuals on the platform generates points based on your trading volume. Depositing into the liquidity provider vault earns points, with vault depositors receiving 20 percent of all points distributed among futures users, plus a 30x multiplier on ENA rewards. Competing in prediction markets by placing bets allows you to climb leaderboards and claim shares of prize pools.
The program also rewards social engagement through ambassador roles and Discord community participation. Social tasks and referrals are part of the activity types.
What it takes
The estimated cost is about $70 and the estimated time is about 33 minutes. You need a wallet connected to the Robinhood Chain and either USDe tokens to deposit into the vault or funds to trade and place prediction bets.
Different activities suit different participants: vault deposits suit those comfortable holding assets in a protocol, trading suits those with experience in perpetuals markets, and predictions suit those interested in betting on outcomes. Social tasks like ambassador roles require more ongoing commitment.
What to watch for
Several activity types have closed or are no longer active, including the testnet trading campaign and earlier seasonal deposit campaigns. Current active tasks focus on mainnet perpetuals trading, the vault, prediction competitions, and ambassador recruitment.
Prediction market competitions have specific buy-in amounts: the Predict Combo Competition requires at least $25 to enter. Rules and reward structures can change between seasons and competition runs.

Risks and what to watch for
- Rewards are not guaranteed. The team can change the points distribution rules, multipliers, and leaderboard rewards at any time.
- Trading perpetuals and placing prediction bets carry financial risk. You can lose the funds you deposit or stake.
- Liquidity provider vault deposits are subject to smart contract risk. A bug or exploit could result in loss of deposited funds.
- Time and effort spent on tasks, including referrals and social engagement, may not result in any reward if point distribution or airdrop terms change.
Frequently asked questions
What does Meridian cost to join?
The estimated cost is about $70. This typically covers vault deposits, trading positions, or prediction market bets. Test tokens were available on the testnet but that program has closed.
Which activities earn the most points?
Vault depositors receive 20 percent of all points distributed among futures users, plus a 30x multiplier on ENA rewards, making that activity high-value. Trading volume and prediction leaderboard placement also earn points, but the exact distribution varies.
What is the vault and what does it offer?
The Meridian Liquidity Provider vault accepts USDe deposits. In return, you receive rewards in USDe, a 30x multiplier on ENA rewards, and a share of points distributed to futures users.
Can I earn points without spending money?
Prediction competitions and ambassador roles may require minimal or no upfront cost, but trading and vault deposits both require funds. The prediction market has a minimum bet of $25 per combo bet.
Is the points reward guaranteed?
No. The team can change points distribution, multipliers, competition rules, and airdrop terms. No tokens have been guaranteed to participants.
