What is Cashmere
Cashmere is a middleware layer that sits between different blockchains to enable direct transfers of native assets without middlemen or liquidity pools. It uses Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol and Tether's USDT technology to burn and mint tokens atomically, keeping transaction costs very low and execution near-instant.
The protocol works across six major blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Aptos, Avalanche, and Cosmos. Users can swap assets between any two networks in a single transaction, paying minimal gas fees—around 35 cents on Ethereum mainnet and less than 2 cents on Sui.
The Points Program
Cashmere Labs is running a points-based rewards program to encourage early adoption. Participants earn points for making cross-chain swaps on the mainnet, with rewards scaling as you increase your swap volume. The more frequently you bridge assets, the more points you accumulate.
Beyond swaps, you can also earn by inviting friends to join the activity. Points are tracked in a dashboard so you can monitor your progress over time. The program is live on mainnet, and there are currently no hard limits on earning—though individual swaps are capped at $100 per transaction at this stage.

The minimum cost to participate is low, with an estimated $5 to cover gas and test swaps. The entire setup takes around 26 minutes: you connect wallets across multiple chains, get some test tokens or real assets, and start swapping. The project supports Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and Aptos wallets, so you can pick whichever networks you prefer.
Beyond mainnet swaps, you can gain additional points by completing tasks on Guild and Zealy, two community platforms that host challenges specific to Cashmere. These tasks typically require minimal effort and no additional cost.
Eligibility and Bonuses
If you were an early Cashmere supporter in 2023 and minted any of the Goat Street NFTs, you qualify for bonus points when you farm on mainnet. Whitelist holders and NFT stakers get extra rewards on top of regular swap earnings. Recently, Cashmere announced a presale of its $CSM token on Robinhood Chain with special conditions for these early participants.
