About the project

Fast is a payment infrastructure for programmatic transactions that enables AI agents, APIs, and software systems to request, authorize, and settle payments in both cryptocurrency and fiat currency without human intervention.

For AI agents and APIs — provides each agent or service with its own wallet, allowing them to automatically pay each other for resources (computations, data, requests) in real time
Microtransactions — fees are close to zero, making it economically viable to pay for individual actions ($0.001 per API request, $0.01 per inference)
Instant finality — transactions finalize in less than a second without waiting states, which is critical for payment tasks that block execution
Unified SDK (Fast Skill) — developers simply need to call the send() function; the SDK automatically manages keys, signatures, and network interactions, and accepts both stablecoins and fiat
Blockless and consensus-free network — the base network (Fast Network) processes transactions in parallel with mathematical verification, providing throughput for large-scale M2M payments
